This report is part of a series describing innovative projects in the areas of housing, employment, family care and immigrant integration in 20 cities across Europe. Local innovation is assessed in relation to process, partners and stakeholders, and level of embededdness in the local welfare system.

Mamba is a network of various stakeholders in Münster addressing the issue of refugee work integration. Work and impact of the organisation were presented at the WILCO final event.
This event introduced different types of innovations in Münster, as a result of WILCO project research findings.
Last March 21st, WILCO partner, Annette Zimmer participated in a radio series where she talked about WILCO and how it is being carried out in Münster (the other German city included in WILCO as case study is Berlin)
As part of one of the political science courses taught by Prof. Annette Zimmer at University of Münster, students were asked to produce a film on one of the WILCO topics. The film, entitled “Kinderhaus”, focuses on housing problems in a northern suburb of Münster.
A total of 20 European cities have been studied in depth within the WILCO framework. This report series represents the first attempt at understanding how the cities have developed over the last decades and how changes have contributed to the current landscape in the areas of housing, employment, family and immigration.
