The “Transformation Plan for the Neighbourhood of la Mina” in the outskirts of Barcelona was launched and financed through the URBAN II programme with funding from the european Regional Development Plan and the European Social Fund. The project brought together architects, educators, economists and social workers to help transform the neighborhood, an innovative new approach.
